Some columns sit outside a group (Bill rate, Cost multiplier, Vacation) and render standalone with full labels.
How grouping works
Section titled “How grouping works”- Single-member suppression — if only one column of a group is visible, it renders standalone with its full label (no group header above one column).
- Label stripping — under a group header, the group word is dropped from child labels (Production value → Value, Total cost → Cost).
- Vertical separators — a thin line bookends each group for easier scanning.
How to show or hide columns
Section titled “How to show or hide columns”- Click the column-customization icon in the table toolbar (or open the Columns menu).
- Toggle individual columns on or off.
- Choices persist in the URL — save as a bookmark to keep them permanently.
When all columns of a group are hidden, the group disappears entirely.
Per-report default column sets
Section titled “Per-report default column sets”Each system report defines a sensible default:
- Production Overview: Production group + Costs group + Time group + Health
- Revenue Overview: Revenue group + Costs group + AR group + Health
- Utilization Overview: Capacity group + Time group + Bill rate
- AR Aging: AR group + Aging buckets
Switching report resets columns to that report’s preset. Filters do not reset. See Filters, bookmarks, and custom views.
Sorting
Section titled “Sorting”Click any column header to sort. Default sort varies by report (Production Overview: by Production value desc; AR Aging: by Outstanding desc; Utilization Overview: by Hours vs target asc). Sort persists in the URL — save as a bookmark to keep it.
Export
Section titled “Export”The export icon exports the currently visible columns and rows in your chosen format.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Why does “Production value” show as just “Value”?
Section titled “Why does “Production value” show as just “Value”?”Either you have only one Production-group column visible (no group header above one column) or you’re on the Services tab where Production value renders standalone.
My column choices reset after switching report
Section titled “My column choices reset after switching report”Display parameters (column visibility) reset on report switch. Save your view as a bookmark to keep your column choice.
A group header disappeared
Section titled “A group header disappeared”All columns in that group are hidden. Open the Columns menu to re-show at least one column from the group.
