How to export reports in Uku

  • All team members can export their own report data. Available on all plan levels.
  • Company Admins and Company Owners can export data across all team members.
  1. Select Report from the main navigation menu.
  2. Set your filters (date range, member, client, topic, etc.) to match the data you want to export.
  3. Select the tab you want to export: Summary, Tasks, or Time.
  4. If you want to include expanded tree rows, expand the relevant rows on the Summary tab first.
  5. Click the download icon in the toolbar.
  6. Select Export PDF or Export Excel.

The export opens in a new browser tab. Save or print it from there.

  • Export PDF — a formatted document matching your current view. Useful for sharing with clients or management, or for archiving.
  • Export Excel — a spreadsheet with the same data. Useful for further analysis or combining with other data. Decimal-hour columns are particularly useful in spreadsheets.

Both formats reflect your current filters, the selected tab, and sort order at the moment of export. If tree rows are expanded on the Summary tab, the exported PDF includes the expanded detail.

  • Export is not available on the Flextime tab.
  • The export reflects only the columns visible at the time of export. Add any columns you need via the Properties button before exporting.

If you export the same report regularly (for example, a monthly billing summary), save the filter configuration as a bookmark:

  1. Set up the filters you use for the export.
  2. Click Save bookmark in the toolbar.
  3. Give the bookmark a name.

Next time, click the bookmark to restore the exact filter set, then export with one additional click.

Export is available on the Summary, Tasks, and Time tabs only. It is not available on the Flextime tab. Switch to a supported tab and try again.

The export reflects your current filters. Check the date range, Member filter, and Task status filter — some entries may be filtered out. Also confirm that any optional columns you need are enabled via the Properties button before exporting.

On the Summary tab, expand the rows you want to include before clicking Export PDF. The export captures the current expanded/collapsed state.

Excel exports reflect the same filters as the on-screen view. Broaden the date range or member filter and export again.
