Reports — overview

Quick answer — Uku's reporting tools let you analyze how time is spent, track client service commitments, and trace every change made in your account. Open Report from the main navigation for time analysis. Open Monitoring to track targets per client per period. Open the Audit Log from your profile menu to see field-level change history.
  • All team members can view reports and the Audit Log filtered to their own data. Available on all plan levels.
  • Company Admins and Company Owners can view data across all team members.
  • Monitoring requires the Team plan and the Monitoring app to be activated.
  • Audit Log team-wide visibility and 100-day history require the Elite plan and Company Admin or Company Owner role.

Select Report from the main navigation menu. The Report view has four tabs:

TabWhat it shows
SummaryGrouped two-level tree of time by client, member, topic, or project. Default starting point for time analysis. Click any row to drill down to tasks.
TasksFlat list of individual tasks matching your filters. Each row shows client, topic, assignees, duration, dates, and status.
TimeIndividual time entries. When filtered to a single member, activates gap and overlap detection with color-coded indicators.
FlextimeAgreed vs. actual hours per member per period. Requires the Flextime app. Company Admins can accept/decline periods and edit balances.

All tabs share a common filter bar (date range, company, member, client, topic, task status, keyword) and support bookmarks for saving filter configurations. See How to export reports for PDF and Excel export.

Select Monitoring from the main navigation menu. Monitoring lets you define expected work targets per client per period — total hours, topic hours, or custom field quantities — and track whether those commitments are being met.

Each period starts empty. Targets do not carry forward automatically — use Copy from... to reuse targets from a previous period. See How to use Monitoring.

Click your profile avatar and select Audit log. The Audit Log records every field-level change — who changed what, when, and what the previous value was. It also supports undo at the field or entry level.

The Audit Log also appears inside client profiles (Activity tab → Audit log) and project views (Audit log tab), automatically scoped to the relevant context.

For the difference between the Activity log (bell icon) and the Audit Log, see Activity log vs Audit Log.
