How to use the Time tab in Report

  • All team members can view the Time tab filtered to their own entries. Available on all plan levels.
  • Company Admins and Company Owners can view and manage time entries for all team members.
  1. Select Report from the main navigation menu.
  2. Click the Time tab.

Each row shows the client, task name, member, topic, time period (start/end), duration, date, and a time entry comment indicator.

When you filter to a single member and sort by the Time column in chronological order, Uku automatically detects gaps and overlaps between consecutive entries on the same day:

  • Green line — a gap between two entries (untracked time)
  • Red line — an overlap between two entries (double-tracked time)
  • Black line — day boundary separator

Hover over any colored line to see a three-dot menu with correction options. See How to identify overlaps and missing time records for full correction steps.

Click the description cell on any row to edit the comment inline. Alternatively, use the row action menu to open an edit dialog. Descriptions are saved when you click away or confirm.

  1. Click the row action menu (three-dot icon) on the right side of the row.
  2. Select Delete.
  3. Confirm the deletion. Deleted entries cannot be recovered.
  1. Click the row action menu.
  2. Select Edit.

This opens the task where the time entry is recorded so you can edit the entry in the context of the full task timesheet.

Click Properties to add or remove columns. Optional columns include a correction indicator (whether the entry was manually corrected) and decimal-hour format variants.

Gap and overlap indicators are not appearing

Two conditions must both be true: (1) the Member filter must be set to exactly one person, and (2) entries must be sorted chronologically by clicking the Time column header. Verify both conditions are met.

The Time tab supports inline description edits only. To change the date, start, end, or duration of an entry, use the row action menu to open the source task and edit the entry there.

Locked entries appear in the list but cannot be deleted

Section titled “Locked entries appear in the list but cannot be deleted”

If your company has time entry locking enabled, entries from past periods are read-only for Company Members. A Company Admin must make corrections to locked entries.

Multiple entries for the same task on the same day are not duplicates — they represent separate time sessions. Check the start and end times to confirm. If they are true duplicates (same start, end, and duration), delete the extra entry using the row action menu.
