Bulk actions and exports on the Members page

Who can do this
Section titled “Who can do this”- Company Owners — full access to all bulk actions and exports.
- Company Admins — can approve/decline vacation requests in bulk and access all exports. Can run combined reports on members they manage.
- Company Members — cannot perform bulk actions. Can only view and edit their own profile.
Selecting members
Section titled “Selecting members”Path: Members in the left sidebar → Members tab.
Check the box to the left of each member row to select them. A selection count appears at the bottom of the page along with a View report button.
To select all visible members at once, check the box in the column header row.
View report for selected members
Section titled “View report for selected members”Select one or more members on the Members tab and click View report. Uku opens the Report view pre-filtered to show only the selected members. This gives you a combined time and task summary across that group — useful for team leads reviewing a sub-team’s output or comparing individual output side by side.
The report opens in the Summary tab by default. Use the tab bar to switch between Summary, Tasks, Time, and other report views. All standard filters (date range, client, topic) still apply.
Bulk approve or decline vacation requests
Section titled “Bulk approve or decline vacation requests”Path: Members → Vacations tab.
The Vacations tab shows all pending, approved, and declined vacation and absence requests for your entire team. To process multiple requests at once:
- Switch to the Vacations tab.
- Check the boxes next to the requests you want to process. Use the header checkbox to select all visible requests.
- Click Approve to approve all selected requests, or Decline to decline them.
Each request moves to the corresponding status (Approved or Declined) immediately. Affected members receive a notification.
Exporting member data to CSV
Section titled “Exporting member data to CSV”The export options are in the action menu at the top-right corner of the Members page (three-dot icon). Available exports:

| **Export members with all fields** | CSV including every member field, regardless of column visibility settings. |
| **Export vacations/absence** | CSV of vacation and absence records for the current filter period. |
| **Import vacations/absence** | Upload a CSV or Excel file to bulk-create vacation records. |
To narrow the export, apply Status, Group, or date filters before exporting. The export respects the active filter.
Making changes to individual members
Section titled “Making changes to individual members”Changes to a single member’s role, status, or personal details are not done through bulk selection — they are made by opening the member’s edit dialog:
- Change role (Company Admin ↔ Company Member): click the edit icon next to the member, then check or uncheck the Administrator box.
- Deactivate a member: open the edit dialog and set their status to Inactive. This removes their access and frees their seat without deleting their data. See How to manage members.
- Delete a member permanently: only the Company Owner can delete a member. Open the member’s profile and use the delete option. Deletion is irreversible.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”I do not see the bulk action bar after selecting members
Section titled “I do not see the bulk action bar after selecting members”Make sure you are on the Members tab, not the Groups tab. The Groups tab does not support bulk selection. If you are on the Members tab and no bar appears, try refreshing the page — the selection bar appears as soon as at least one row is checked.
The Vacations tab is not visible
Section titled “The Vacations tab is not visible”The Vacations tab is only visible to Company Owners and Company Admins. If you are a Company Member, you will not see the tab. Contact a Company Admin or Company Owner to review vacation requests.
Export produces an empty file
Section titled “Export produces an empty file”Check whether a filter is applied that matches no members. Clear all filters (Status, Group, Search) and try the export again. If the Members list shows members but the export is empty, try Export members with all fields instead of the default export.
