Who can do this
Section titled “Who can do this”Available on the Elite plan with the Monitoring feature active, currently in beta with selective customer access. If the category is missing from the BI sidebar, check that Monitoring is enabled in Settings & Apps.
What monitoring targets are
Section titled “What monitoring targets are”Monitoring targets capture recurring compliance work — VAT declarations filed monthly, payroll runs, year-end statements, AML checks per period — anything where you need X done by date Y repeatedly. They are configured per client in the Monitoring app.

When to open
Section titled “When to open”- Daily compliance pulse — Monitoring Overview, sort by alert count desc
- Pre-deadline week — filter to current period, scan for amber/red status
- Weekly team meeting — show on screen, walk through alerts
- Audit preparation — annual view, show compliance % trend
Monitoring vs Work Completion
Section titled “Monitoring vs Work Completion”Monitoring is for recurring compliance commitments with formal targets. Work Completion is for general task delivery — was the task done on time, was the estimate accurate. Different scope, different audience.
Troubleshooting

Section titled “I don’t see a particular client”Either they have no active monitoring targets in the period, or your filter excludes them.
A target is past its date and shows as “missed” — can I update it?
Section titled “A target is past its date and shows as “missed” — can I update it?”Yes — edit the target in the Monitoring app. BI Analytics reflects whatever the Monitoring app says.
A target is irrelevant for one period (e.g. client is on holiday)
Section titled “A target is irrelevant for one period (e.g. client is on holiday)”Deactivate the target for that period in the Monitoring app. BI will exclude it from the compliance %.
How do I add a new monitoring target?
Section titled “How do I add a new monitoring target?”In the Monitoring app (Clients > Client view > monitoring section), not in BI. BI surfaces the data; setup happens in the source app.
Can I export the compliance grid for an auditor?
Section titled “Can I export the compliance grid for an auditor?”Yes — the table export gives you the full per-client target / actual / status grid.
