How to use it

Section titled “Pre-month-end sweep”- Period = current month
- Sort by Billing gap desc
- Top clients have the most unbilled production
- Drill in: which members worked, which topics
- Push for invoice creation before close
Billing-team prioritization
Section titled “Billing-team prioritization”- Sort by unbilled value desc
- Top 10 are this week’s invoice-creation queue
- After invoicing, refresh BI — gap should drop
Troubleshooting

Section titled “A client shows a gap but I just invoiced them”Either the invoice is still in draft (drafts don’t count toward confirmed revenue), or the cache is slightly stale. Refresh BI from the sidebar.
Negative billing gap — is that real?
Section titled “Negative billing gap — is that real?”Yes — premium billing or fixed-fee with low production. Negative means invoiced more than produced. Generally fine.
How does this differ from Billing Health?
Section titled “How does this differ from Billing Health?”Billing Health is the diagnostic dashboard for the whole billing chain. Billing Gap is the actionable list of what to invoice next. Use Billing Health to spot the problem; use Billing Gap to act.
